Okay, for the record… LSU won the BCS Championship game. The Tigers and the Buckeyes put 62 points on the board and combined for a total of 42 first downs.
14 contestants predicted the correct winner: LSU.

Therefore, the first tiebreaker was employed to determine the winner. Remember, the first tiebreaker was to predict the total number of the final score (62) without going over.
