image NAVIGON, a leading provider of navigation products and solutions, today
announced the spring 2008 availability of NAVIGON Fresh in North America.

This free, downloadable software application will provide all NAVIGON
users with access to exclusive content and services, and support NAVIGON’s user community with up-to-date product information and customer service support. NAVIGON Fresh automatically synchronizes home computers with NAVIGON GPS products via a USB connection, providing an easy-to-use platform to update and augment content.

“GPS content is highly dynamic because it must provide a constantly
refreshed, up-to-date picture of the real world”" said Andreas Hecht,
NAVIGON’s President for the Americas. “NAVIGON Fresh helps us keep our
product family smart long after consumers buy them by making it quick and
easy to get new maps and other content. This software will be instrumental
in helping us respond to and connect with our customers on an ongoing
basis.”

NAVIGON Fresh will be available and accessible in spring 2008 to all
customers registered on http://www.navigon.com (U.S.). The platform will
enable:

  • Software Updates — The latest firmware updates for enhanced product performance and route accuracy
  • Maps — Purchase updates for existing maps of U.S. and Canada as well as additional international maps
  • Service Activation — Activate accessories such as Lifetime Traffic and ZAGAT Survey Ratings and Reviews
  • Exclusive Content — New NAVIGON features and functionality accessible first by registered users

NAVIGON Fresh will be compatible with Microsoft Windows XP, Vista and
Mac OS X. Additional system requirements include an available USB slot and
a broadband Internet connection.
