WiMax is the future. And OQO has demonstrated to be a company thinking ahead so it does not surprise me at all to see OQO showing a upgraded model 02 with integrated WiMax at CES according to this report published at MobileMag .

The OQO model 02 UMPC is not a new unit in the strictest sense, but the company is demonstrated an industry first at CES 2008 by integrating the unit with full-on WiMAX connectivity.

They are partly thinking ahead to me. They still have done zero on improving how you interact with it. It looks the same as it did with the first model. The problem is that the keys are too cramped to touch type, it should have touch screen and eliminate the mouse, too much wasted space on the keyboard. I would have liked to see them make one focused on providing a good computer to type into.
