Offers the Best Value for the Convenience and Cost Savings of Using Home Phones to Make Calls Over Mobile Network
Blue Raven Technology today introduced the MobileMate 1380 Bluetooth Home and Mobile Phone Adapter. The MobileMate provides the best value in the category for consumers that want to leverage the value and flexibility of their cellular plans through their land line handsets, which are usually placed more conveniently throughout the home. The product also allows users to use their mobile handset to place and receive calls over their land line. The MobileMate product is available immediately for $99 and includes native Bluetooth functionality without the need to purchase optional adaptors, a significant value over competing solutions.
The MobileMate Adaptor uses Bluetooth technology to connect virtually any Bluetooth-enabled cell phone to a house phone, enabling users to use either phone to place and receive calls over either network. The MobileMate automatically connects to any Bluetooth phone as soon as it is in range of the device. The house phone connected to the MobileMate adaptor will ring when the Bluetooth phone rings, and consumers can pick up either phone to answer the call. To dial out, users simply enter a short code to connect to the cell or landline network. The device comes with two RJ11 jacks for line in and line out, 12V DC power output, an AC adaptor and a phone cord. The MobileMate device is 3.2 ounces.
The MobileMate Adaptor is available from Ingram Micro Dealers as well as at http://www.blueravengear.com and will be available at Mass Retailers and e-tailers over the next 30 days. The MSRP is $99.00.
