Joshua,
Tried Kingston, DaneElec and Sandisk (my preferred vendor) microSDs--same problem with all of them. I have a gut feeling that the problem is related to some communication failing during the startup--perhaps my e-mail push sync with Exchange. After all, disabling MSN Live Mobile has worked for some users.

I will look at e-natives.com. Thanks for the heads-up.

Richard,
I have tried to contact HTC but they referred me back to T-Mobile Customer Care. They've been no help.

I used the Tmobile DASH for almost a year before switching to Nextel (needed the direct connect iDen network) and never experienced any of the issues you described. I was one of the first to upgrade to WM6, and was surprised how smooth and flawless the process was. I did have some issues with WM6, but only in how it did somethings differently from WM5. I used 1 & 2gb Sandisk cards with no problems. Have you contacted HTC and asked for their technical assistance?

That is a whole lot of trouble you've had with your Dash. I've got my Dash at the same time, and updated to WM6 as soon as the update came out. I use a 1GB SD and never had any problem with resets. I wish you luck, and have no idea why your having so much trouble. I know of two other people with Dash's that I work with, one has updated to WM6 also and theirs is working great. I'm using the stock T-Mobile ROM. The problem with other ROMs is that you have to do a number of fixes to get the keys to work right on the Dash. Have you tried a different brand of SD card? The brand I have is Kingston.

If you get yours up and running good, I'd recommend taking a look at http://www.e-natives.com/ They have a great StartMenu/Task Manager replacement. Its still in developement but its really promising.
