pccapture1qg4 Saw this over at xda and thought some of you might find it interesting. I have tried it out and it worked fine. I liked the zoom capabilities on the video record, but you cannot change on the fly. You have to stop video recording and change, then re-start the video recorder. Also, don’t get too excited, there is no zoom on 3mp camera setting. Bummer.

As always, try this software at your own risk, back up your date, yadda, yadda, yadda…

New features:

  • I Noticed some improvement in the video recording
  • Easier to control the HUE and different photo settings
  • now you can zoom in Video mode, MMS Video mode and all the other mods (but 3MP Photo Mode / GPS Mode)
  • Camera Album will open straight from the camera app (No more PIMG.exe)
  • The video will be played back through Windows Media Player.

Requirements for this CAMERA application to work:
1. Can be installed on any rom so far….AFAIK…
2. Must Install HTC ALUBM. http://rapidshare.com/files/74055736…0.1030.720.cab
(any version of HTC ALBUM i guess it will work with any version, but this version works beautifully)
3. Install the HTC CAMERA Cab file. http://rapidshare.com/files/81443390/Nadavi_HTC_Camera_5_0_4_2915_00.cab
Soft Reset.

Thanks to the good people at XDA. :)

I've installed Album, it works good.

Then I installed Camera. But there isn't any new program icon shows in Start->Programs. And if I click the Camera icon from Album, nothing happens.

What might've gone wrong in my case? Thanks!
