Has incredibly good pickup. I like to record in WAV format (large files) and edit using Windows Movie Maker 2 (good audio editor, mediocre video editor). The audio system is not providing the Audio Recorder the audio. The only way how to record the incoming voice is using the external speaker. The recording quality is excellent, and the choice of formats is clutch. I use it to record lectures, and after the 1st day I was so satisfied that I bought the license.
