tiltrescoaudio I want to thank Steve for following up with Resco on why there are problems with Resco Audio Recorder on our Tilt/TyTN II devices. It is compatible with all WM 06 devices, but no one had been able to actually record and incoming call.  This is Resco’s response to Steve:

I am sorry, we know about this problem but we are unable to fix it due to hardware principle of the problem. The audio system is not providing the Audio Recorder the audio. The only way how to record the incoming voice is using the external speaker. This happens on many HTC devices

So this is not good news at all for us. I would like to say that this is in no way meant to slam Resco. IT definitely appears it is HTC specific. Resco certainly makes some fine products such as their File Explorer 2007 which has been a must have for me on all my devices for quite some time. We’ll keep you posted if an update or workaround presents itself.

Thanks again to Steve for his work with Resco!

Is there (to date) any software capable of recording phone calls on the Tilt? I've tried at least 3 or 4 including Vito and PVR and none of them work well unless A) you use the speakerphone or B) you use Bluetooth in which case the other party's audio is at an acceptable level. There has to be someone working on this for a Tilt for christ's sake- I mean it was only the most powerful windows device released by ATT.

Thanks Steve. I was waiting patiently for this answer as I sometime need to record phone calls for meetings.

    Thanks Steve!

Again, I want to stress - as I did on one of my earlier posts - that as a recorder for lectures, etc, it is amazing. I purchased the license for that purpose, not for the phone recorder. I am totally satisfied with the product for that reason, but still asked them regarding the phone recording functionality since I want to get what I paid for...
So, for anyone with a Tilt that needs it to record classes or speeches, BUY IT.
