Buyers Text Keywords to Receive Slideshows on Their Mobile Phone

Cellyspace (www.cellyspace.com) has introduced a new web application for real estate agents to create and send virtual property tours to a home buyer’s mobile phone. Using Cellyspace’s online application, real estate agents compose images, audio, video and text into property slideshows, choose a unique keyword for their content and then promote the keyword on signs and print advertising. When home buyers text this unique keyword to Cellyspace’s shortcode, the slideshow is sent directly to their phone. With this application real estate agents can generate sales leads, announce price reductions, broadcast alerts and promote their listings, agents and firm.

Although “Smartphones” (ex. BlackBerrys, iPhones, etc.) can receive multimedia via email, the overwhelming majority of mobile phones on the market cannot. Therefore, Cellyspace sends multimedia content primarily via MMS (”picture messaging”) and alternatively via WAP (the mobile internet), reaching the largest possible market.

MMS messaging is basically the multimedia equivalent of the hugely popular SMS (text) messaging. MMS is ideal because most phones are SMS and MMS capable, there’s no software to download and consumers are already familiar with having SMS and MMS messages sent directly to their inbox.

Content is composed, edited, converted and stored online through Cellyspace’s “MMS Composer.” Real estate agents create multimedia presentations of listings, contact details and insight on their firm or agents by uploading files from their computer. They can also create their own text or multimedia broadcast alert services online.

Creating, storing and publishing MMS is free and there are no subscription charges. After a free trial, there’s a 20 cent (US) charge to send each MMS. According to the co-founder of Cellyspace, Richard Eicher, “We use a ‘Pay for Performance’ model so real estate agents set their own promotional goals and only pay per message delivered. Market feedback indicates that reaching 100 live prospects for $20.00 is a very good investment.”

You can try http://www.bywifi.com . It is a good mobile service for mobile devices. It transcodes 3gp videos from youtube.com and optimize web pages. I always download youtube movies and read web pages with it.
