AirDrives Latest Technology Allows Apple iPhone Users to Easily Switch Between Phone and Music Feature Just in Time for New Cell Phone Law

Mad Catz Interactive, a leading third-party interactive entertainment accessory provider, and the creators of AirDrives Interactive Earphones, announced today that the company has begun shipping its next generation of AirDrives designed specifically for use with the Apple iPhone.

Like the original AirDrives earphones, the new iPhone model features an outer-ear design powered by InAir Technology, a breakthrough personal audio technology that enables users to hear what’s going on around them. The iPhone compatible AirDrives earphones include a microphone and one-touch music-to-phone capability that together enriches the listening experience while optimizing convenience and communication for iPhone users. AirDrives for iPhone is also compatible with Blackberry’s new Pearl and Curve cell phones.

“While we initially created AirDrives for iPhone as a way to provide users a seamless integration of music and mobile capabilities, we are seeing an even greater need for them as several states currently restrict or will be restricting cell phone use while driving in the coming months,” said Ken Wright, creator and designer of AirDrives.

AirDrives for iPhone joins the existing line of AirDrives and AirDrives for Kids Interactive Earphones. All AirDrives earphones exceed the House Ear Institute and Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) standards for all-day listening based on sound pressure levels detected at the inner ear.

AirDrives for iPhone are shipping now for the suggested retail price of $99.99. AirDrives are compatible with iPod, MP3 Players, computers and portable DVD systems, and are available now. The new suggested retail price for AirDrives is $79.99, and $49.99 for AirDrives for Kids. Both models are available for purchase online at www.BestBuy.com or www.AirDrives.com. AirDrives are also available at Sharper Image stores and www.Hammacher.com.

I own a pair of airdrives and they work as advertised. I also use a product called lobie from mylobie.com. Same basic features but lobies only cost $12, come in lots of colors including clear, some with glitter. Lobies work with your ipod earbuds or any other earbud. bass response seems better.
