Dutty’s WM6.1 ROM To Be Released Friday

A couple of weeks ago I posted: Windows Mobile 6.1 ROM’s Leaked, ROM Chef’s Working Furiously!. And have they ever! There has been a lot of Cooked ROM’s released for the Tilt/TyTN II that have been downloaded and tested by a lot of users. But most of that community is anxiously awaiting a particular ROM by famed chef Duttythroy. He has taken his time and looks to be in the finishing stages of a very fast and stable WM6.1 ROM. Check out the eye-candy below:

Dutty says that his ROM is in the finishing stages of a 20 member Beta Test Team and will be released on Friday. Dutty hasn’t disclosed the program list of page pool info yet, but he did provide the beautiful screen shots above, and some very impressive screen shots of the bench marking on his ROM that you can find after the break!

    The menchbark was nice, I had not viewed that before.

    In my corner of the world including myself there are 5 8525's (HTC HERM100). With a little help from XDA I did locate and update them all with the OEM ATT WM6 pro.

    If someone has run across a nice chart outlining the differences between WMx versions it would be helpfull in calculating just how proactive I need to be to find and install a solid functional cooked WM6.1 for my circle of family and friends.

    First priority is to be able answer a simple text from last week, "what is the difference between WM6 and the new WM6.1?"

    At that time my best answer was "it's newer ;-) ". Sort of a lame answer.
