WMExperts has a great article on How To Edit Your Registry that is a must read. Owning a WM Device, it becomes almost a must to eventually learn this skill, or more to the point, have confidence in editing your registry. “Hacks” like PTT, Weather, Time Format, and other changes can be done easily and safely when you learn how. It even becomes fun! One thing always to remember, is back up your data, before you edit. If you mess up don’t worry, registry “Hacks” that go wrong can be fixed by simply doing a hard reset.
Registry Edits (or as some call them hacks or tweaks) are often times one of the great mysteries of the WM world that can either totally baffle or flat out scare the bejeezus out of first time WM phone owners, or even sometimes veteran users for that matter. But with a little direction and a few proactive and preventive steps, these fears are more often than not largely exaggerated. Registry edits are cool, useful, helpful, can fine tune / optimize / personalize your phone, or sometimes might simply be important to know how to do in order to fix your phone.
