There are a slew of pictures that Engadget Mobile took while they had a quick look at the HTC Advantage X7510.  I like this device and think it would be perfect for what I do but for some reason I’ve been holding off and with the new design, I may have made the right decision because I like it … a lot!  Size … it is big but not too big.  It’s not a laptop although one might think it is a very small one.  If you like this device then you might want to check out the pictures they got just to get those device envy juices flowing again!

And if you missed the post about Matt Miller Reviews new HTC Advantage the other day, it is well worth looking at.  Matt did a nice job and has a short video you will enjoy.

    You meant the keyboard? :)

You might still find it usable. I didn't because I had been spoiled by the excellent keyboard of the Universal. The vibrating effect just can't fix the problem of the buttons' not traversing at all and all having a "sensor" effect (it's like typing on a sensor keyboard with no mechanical keys at all). Personally, I wouldn't be able to use it as effectively as on the, phiysically, smaller (!) Universal - only with an external TO SA keyboard.

(And I haven't even mentioned it's still based on the outdated PXA270 architecture.)
  • now i'm bummed!!

Note that its keyboard isn't particularly good either... (I've thoroughly tested it at MWC too).

Great photos! I have been looking at the Advantage too (especially with all the "issues" with the HTC Shift). Perhaps it will be availablein the US by our birthdays later this year!

I think Chris ought to get one for two of his favorite (wink wink) blog posters! lol
