Here's another app that is efven more powerful then Kaiser Notifications. The app is called nueLED and can be found at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=1954259. Here's the differences....

Kaiser Notification was designed to allow the user to reassign or turn off certain notifications,. This is a stand alone app that runs in the background at all times. The benefit to this app is that it's simple and straightfoward to figure out. The drawbacks to this app is that there is really no customization. Also, this app overwrites any notification settings you have setup in Settings > Sounds & Notifications. Special LED stuff doesn't work either, like WIFI LED, GPS LED, & Charging LED

nueLED takes a different approach. Instead of running as seperate application, it changes the registry to use it's notification dll. What does this mean? This means you can use the settings under SOunds & Notifications just like normal, it also means that the battery charging LED still works, along with GPS and WIFI LEDs. The killer part is that you can still reassign LEDs to different colors. So if you want the Signal LED to be Blue, you can reassign it to the Blue LED.

I still use this app the same way I did Kaiser Notifications, all LEDs are off unless there is email/vmail/sms/missed call.

Just tested it on my Tile - works fine.

My only complaint is that the "back off" alerts will vibrate (if you have it selected) even when the phone is in silent mode.

Maybe something to consider for the next revision.

I'm getting real tired of the same "green, green, green/blue" blinking lights on the face when there's nothing happening, it's so distracting.

Now I just have it flash red if I have a missed call and flash blue if I have a missed message and keep the LEDs off otherwise. Simple.

Steve, thanks for the heads up. Totally misunderstood Jason's followup on LED Alerts.

"LED Alerts - update for Professional/Pocket PC devices

Following up on my post about LED Alerts - Fernando contacted me to remind folks that if the device is a Professional device you can actually tell it to flash the led directly from the OS, under Sounds & Notifications when an email comes in for example.

Thanks Fernando :) "

To me it read that it would work. I tested it and contacted LED Alerts and it does not. I'll get a retraction right away. Thanks again!

This is the type of stuff that really pisses me off about sites that just post crap without trying it. This is a Tilt related site and here is a software that is claimed by your site to work, it even says "(Tilt/TyTN II Also!" - TOTAL CRAP! Guys, this is a WM6 Standard (aka smartphone) software, DO NOT ATTEMPT to install on your Tilt, it won't work.

To the Tiltsite.com admins, before posting that a software will also work on Tilt, verify first. You have a lot of newbies that don't know any better and look to your site for guidance.

Why is this even posted on the Tilt site, this is smartphone only software. I contacted the author for the software and they don't even have a wm6 pro version. Doug, maybe you should pull this article off the site.

Kaiser Notifications. Free program, similar functionality, also does vibrate reminders. google Kaiser Notifications. I haven't installed it, but LED Alerts seems like a ripoff.
