MobileData Now (http://www.mobiledatanow.com/) releases MobileData Now v1.2, an affordable mobile data access solution for businesses with a mobile workforce or a need to give the general public access to information. MobileData Now provides users with instant access to business and database applications from any mobile device using email, SMS (text messaging) or IM (instant messaging). MobileData Now will be demonstrating its mobile data access solution all week at Mobile World Congress (stand/booth #2A-105).

“Whether workers need to check real-time inventory or input new customer data on the fly, MobileData Now offers businesses the easiest and most cost effective solution to connect users to critical data needed while working remotely on a job site or while traveling,” says Nick Bolton, founder and CEO of MobileData Now.

Bolton continues, “MobileData Now also allows businesses to provide information to the general public. For example, a realtor can add to a property’s for sale sign instructions, such as ‘TEXT: house 45 to 8797′ giving a potential buyer who is passing by immediate access to specific information about the property and request to have the agent contact them. This is just one of many uses that MobileData Now provides businesses.”

MobileData Now requires no staff training, no software to install on mobile devices, no passwords to remember, no menus to navigate. Users can be up and running in as little as ten minutes.

Two Ways to Access Data:

  • Named Users (e.g. employees): It allows an administrator to set user authentication and privileges, which controls and validates user access and defines what data can be accessed.
  • Unlimited Public Messaging (e.g. general public): It allows anyone to have access to specific data.
