access_logo Wow, things are really looking good for all of us disgruntled Pocket Internet Explorer Users! I personally never liked the Plug-ins. Something about patching an application for the biggest Software Company in the world bothers me! I guess we shouldn’t “expect” Microsoft to supply us with a decent Browser! In any case. You read about SkyFire (Click Here), you read about Opera 9.5 (Click Here), now get ready as NetFront Browser v3.5 jumps into the Ring! Check it out:

Skyfire is NOT good for gmail users. Skyfire does not provide the mobile version of websites, and as such it is very unfriendly for web based email systems.
Skyfire also does not have 'search' for a word in open web page. Opera does. PIE doesn't as well.

Compared to skyfire netfront sucks! If you havent gotten skyfire get it and i promise youll keep it. There are only a few quirks with Skyfire like for some reason you cant put your device to sleep with it running.

Also in your disclosure you give them rights to monitor your traffic. Your traffic will be assigned a ID number and the collection of pages you visit may allow someone to identify you. However thats not the intent. I havent been to any banking sites or other sites with identifiable info on it. Cant wait til the final version comes out maybe the beta testers will give a free copy.

I've been using it for several days & really like it, although I do have to say I prefer the way PIE deals with favorites.

I didn't like it. I gave it a go and it seemed slow. I didn't like the way it does favorites. After I uninstalled it the PIE Plus would not allow address bar entry. I had to reinstall that and select an option next to the go button on the address bar to get address entry to work. I'll wait for Opera 9.

I just downloaded this last night and I'm really enjoying it. There are a few things that I don't really care for like the way it displays the first google search page, but other than that it's pretty cool. I like it much better than opera 8.6 or whatever version it is that I have.
Thanks tilt site for the heads up on another great program!
  • Hey this looks interesting, I'll give it a whirl in a few. The page scrolling looks really fast in the video.
