Everything that you know or you may have seen about UMPCs is nothing compare to what you are about to see in this next video:

When or will be this UMPC ever release? It’s unknown. So far the only piece of information that’s clear is the name: Samsung P9. I personally will add this model number to my notes about UMPC to follow up because without any doubt, this is one of the best concepts that I have seen in two years.

    Check this comment

I had to fix my links here and in other places.
  • Frank, your video and mine were from the same youtube user.

New videos are also from the same youtube user.

You just didn't notice the note.

Ctitanic, please, the kid's a student. Of course it's unprofessional, but it's ok because he's not a professional yet. This guy has a lot of potential and I look forward to seeing his work in the future.

Because when you found the video it was already too late. When I found the video I found it no in the author channel but in the channel of somebody else. The author complained to Youtube and youtube removed the video from that other person. Follow the comments and you will find what I´m saying.

Well my college project was that i had to select a brand and make a completly new product for that brand which doesn't exist. Thats why i used samsung. So, i don't think its unprofessional.

And I didn't realise while uploading that it would create such confusion.
  • ctitanic
Correction, you made me believe that if was a concept UMPC from developed by Samsung by using Samsung brand and a fictitious model number.
By using Samsung brands without Samsung's permit your are violating the trade marks laws.
So, your defense about what you saw others doing with iPod is a real weak one.
you have done a very good job in your concept and video but using a company brand is very unprofessional.
  • umang
I'll give you an example. Remember when iPhone wasn't even announced there were so many concepts floating around. They all used Apple's name...were any of them sued for using Apple's name?

Infact you described my concept as
"When or will be this UMPC ever release? It’s unknown. So far the only piece of information that’s clear is the name: Samsung P9. "
when i clearly mentioned it as concept i did for my college project on my youtube page.

Anyways, I'm uploading a new concept video which doesn't contain any any brand or product name. So, you can remove the headline 'Samsung P9 : future'.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ic-PpXmHDmY

Sorry if i've mislead you into believing that this is a real product.

And once again thanks for posting it on your blog.
  • ctitanic
It's a concept of you, it's not Samsung's concept, you can get even sued by Samsung for misleading people by using their trade mark.

    Really very unprofessional.
  • umang
Yea, i know thats why i clearly mentioned it in the video info on my youtube page that its a concept.
  • ctitanic
Well, my link still working, as far as being or not your video or concept I think that it's not a very good thing to use a Real company name and a model number to name a concept that is your. That could lead to confusion and it's real misleading.

That video has been deleted, cause it was uploaded by someone else.Follwing is the original video.

"Everything that you know or you may have seen about UMPCs is nothing compare to what you are about to see in this next video:"

thanks for that.... i'm really overwhelmed by the response. This is my first ever concept. more to come....

  • hyedipin
Yeah, it looks very cool. A bit unreal at that thickness, but still a good concept.
  • badersk
