Spb Mobile Shell 2.0 to be Presented at GSMA Mobile World Congress in Barcelona

St. Petersburg, Russia — February 05th, 2008 — Spb Software House, the world’s leading Windows Mobile software vendor, will present the new version of its celebrated Spb Mobile Shell at the GSMA Mobile World Congress, the world’s most significant mobile event of the year.

Spb Mobile Shell 1.0 was first introduced during 3GSM last year. The software proved to be a clear hit, outperforming all other Windows Mobile applications on the market and coming out as the best-selling Pocket PC program of the year. Mobile Shell 1.0 was called the best interface/menu improver by the Smartphone & Pocket PC Magazine, the Best Evolution Application by Handango, the best means to a “decluttered device” by BusinessWeek.com, and the Best Program for PDA’s by the Shareware Industry Awards.

The new Spb Mobile Shell 2.0 — is the next generation Windows Mobile user interface. It is adapted to the latest devices on the market, is more animated, more customizable, and a more graphically complete than ever before. This new version of Spb Mobile Shell will be first introduced at the Spb Software House booth at Mobile Worlds Congress, and will become commercially available to OEMs and end-customers by the end of February 2008.

Among other innovations to be showcased by Spb Software House in Barcelona next week is Spb Catalog — an on-device catalog based on the Microsoft Marketplace technology, providing users with easy and manageable access to selections of popular Windows Mobile programs, games, ringtones, themes, and other mobile content.

Spb Mobile Shell 2.0 along with a multitude of latest Spb innovations will be presented in Hall 2, Level 0, at Stand 2B38. Mobile Operators and OEMs are also invited to visit Spb Software House at the Microsoft Partner Booth in Hall 1, Level 0, Stand 1D19 — to experience Spb Catalog and to discover other powerful device customization options.

The GSMA Mobile World Congress will take place in Barcelona, Spain, February 11—14.
