If you frequent Tiltsite, you will have seen some of these individually covered, but Jenn over at Pocketables has put together a nice article covering these 10 issues and how to deal with them. (list links her article)

  1. Uninstall the preloaded AT&T software.
  2. Customize the Today screen.
  3. Get a new dialer skin.
  4. Install KaiserTweak.
  5. Look through Kaiser CAB files.
  6. Demo Wisbar Advance 3.
  7. Find a new web browser.
  8. Enable HSDPA.
  9. Dig up Internet Sharing.
  10. Buy a mini-USB to 3.5mm adapter or Bluetooth headphones.

Jenn does a great job linking you to where to get the goods from to help make your Tilt the best it can be! Make sure to check out her article.

Man I wish I would have discovered the HSDPA tweak sooner! I enabled it in KaiserTweaks and now I have 2 to 3 times the speed I had with 3G. The difference is incredible! I always wondered why the "H" never popped up on my phone as I thought it was available in my area. Now I know At&t was crippling it!
  • Thanks. Got it fixed now.
