1q2as WOW, I have been using a program for some time now to view my mobile devices on my PC’s screen.  It has been pretty good and I never thought about looking at other solutions until today when I caught a post from Kevin Tofel over at jkOnTheRun.  Kevin started by asking if you needed a free way to remotely control or display your Windows Mobile device on your computer.  And of course I said NO, but fortunately I read on because Kevin said to consider taking a look at My Mobiler.

Now it’s like when you hear that famous quote “When E.F. Hutton speaks, people listen” so when “Kevin speaks, I listen” because he always has some sage advice and today was no exception!

Kevin indicated that he has used this free, handy application to capture screen shots (and video) and that it works great!  So I decided to give it a try and WOW, was I glad I did because it is just terrific! This new version adds a great copy/paste feature from either the handheld or your PC and you can drag it right across using your keyboard and/or mouse… how cool is that? Kevin reminded us that you need Microsoft ActiveSync installed and  your device must be connected to your computer.

So in a nutshell, this very cool FREEWARE application will give you the following:

View your mobile screen on your desktop.

Control your mobile by using desktop keyboard and mouse.

Copy/Paste text between mobile and desktop.

Capture mobile screen.

Drag and drop files to your mobile.

Support ActiveSync / IP Connection

Support Mobile Explorer (File Browse)

This is totally cool freeware! I've been wanting to find some software that allows me to take screenshots of my PDA to post in my profile, forums, etc. and this is it!

And the fact that you can actually operate your PDA from your Windows desktop is the icing on the cake.

    Super job!!
