adimage We may be getting closer to an “Official” Date that Tilt users will be seeing a ROM Update to Windows Mobile 6.1! We all know that that 6.1 has been out for at least a month now (Leaked versions) in a ton of different Cooked ROMS (Builds 19176 & 19199). Now some members over at XDA have gotten their hands on an official AT&T Kaiser (Tilt) ROM Build 19209. This ROM looks to be the final version or close to it because of all the AT&T Bloatware included with it. Is it possible that AT&T could deliver a ROM update faster than HTC delivering the Video Driver Update?

Of course we all know what goodness comes with WinMo 6.1, but it also looks like this new ROM Build 19209 will come with the HTC Today Screen. Here are some interesting specs of this new ROM Build:

GSM Radio: 1.65.14.06
Protocol version: 25.81.40.02H
CE version: 3.14.502.1
OS build: Windows Mobile 6.1 AKU 1.0.2 Build 19209

Stay tuned for more info.

  • Just a note, that this is an upcoming AT&T; ROM for the Kaiser that will bring us to Wondows Mobile 6.1 goodness. HTC owes us a Video Update that is due in March. (Not going to Happen) The AT&T; ROM will probably be a little while off.

We have decided not to link to hacked ROM's so we keep MS off our backs, but I CAN tell you if you google search for it, you will find what you seek. XDA is the only one that has the ROM.
