The RIM email system is okay. I don’t think it’s horrible. It does one thing and it does it well. I don’t find them to be difficult, either.

But yes, RIM’s handhelds are quite lackluster. Again, they do one thing great, but everything else is “meh.”

Hence, why I got a Tilt. ;)

I’ve talked to several IT people who say that the RIM email system is horrible…that both servers and handsets are unnecessarily difficult to implement, configure, and upgrade.

Push technology is pretty much standard in mobile email…RIM had better start building most robust multimedia features and implement touchscreen technology if they want to compete.
