HP PC Card Mouse is quite the cat’s meow

Back in November of 2006 I posted a story about MoGo Mouse & HP = HP Bluetooth PC Card Mouse. I was thrilled that HP picked up this innovative mouse to add to their accessory list for their notebooks.  The MoGo Mouse is the ideal companion for notebook users whether on the road or in a meeting. The compact and lightweight design stores conveniently in the notebook PC card slot. It coordinates seamlessly with a notebook via Bluetooth wireless technology. It also features a rechargeable battery that charges automatically when stored in the PC card slot and is compatible with all notebooks and Tablet PCs with a PC card slot and embedded Bluetooth wireless technology.

So today we see jkOnTheRun talking about his HP branded Mogo Mouse and in essence, he feels  it “is quite the cat’s meow”.  In part, James said:

I just spent a couple of hours using it in the local coffee shop after charging and pairing it and it fit my needs wonderfully.  The convenience of storing and charging this flat Bluetooth mouse in the PC Card slot cannot be overstated ….

The mouse feels quite natural while using it ….that’s a tribute to the design.  The two buttons work very well and it pairs instantly when the kickstand is opened.

I should point out that the same folks who make the MoGo also make the HP version, in fact other than the color it looks the same as the MoGo.  I heard from the CEO of the company that makes the MoGo after I reported about how the original unit was defective and to their credit they are sending a replacement for it shortly.

Anyone who reads James’ blog knows he loves to chronicle his experiences.  So you have to follow what he says throughout his experience to get the full picture.  Check out why James said the HP PC Card Mouse is quite the cat’s meow here!

  • I agree 100% Julie! It is a very neat piece of technology that makes the ability to Experience Mobility just a little easier.

I have the iGo Stowaway Bluetooth Travel Mouse and the MOGO mouse and I much prefer the MOGO mouse. It was a bit different getting used to it, but the connection seems much more stable and you just can't beat the portability of it. It's a great mouse and I'm glad to see that HP has embraced it.
