Most “dumb” devices have to use the same passcode because there's no way to input a custom one. A keyboard could probably have a “configure” mode to allow inputting one, but I'd be surprised if it did.

probably a stupid question… but would all the MediaBoard Pros have the same passkey #….?

Thanks for such an indepth review! I'm now able to connect the MediaBoard Pro with windows xp, but cannot connect to vista/7.. because it's asking for a passcode. Since I don't have a PS3, I have no idea what my passcode is. Do you know any work arounds? any help would be appreciated! cheers

I am using it with a mac but want to customize the keys for mac. do you know how to do it?

Hi there,
I am not really sure about the passkey, as you know it should be different for each PS3, they just use the passkey to determine it is the correct device. make sure num lock is on and you use number pad on the keyboard.
After that it should connect without a problem.

I am really grateful for the pairing pictures becuase i bought this keyboard recentley and didn’t get a sheet with it just on its own, the problem is my PS3 can scan it but ive tried about 30 times and the pass key is not correct there is no way of changing it and the error number seems to be different to the one in the picture you have uploaded please could you give me a solution to my problem?
