Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 Already Delayed? No…

Late last week, there were rumors floating around that the X1 was going to be delayed until 2009. Luckily, I was quite busy with the site upgrades and didn’t have a chance to share that rumor. I am very interested in the X1 (even started Xperiasite, but haven’t had the time to finish) and I really hated to hear this. The Unwired was reporting that a document with release dates showed the X1 in 2009.

Yesterday I found a post on Engadget that confirmed that the X1 is on track still. Sony Ericsson Corporate Vice President of the Global Communications Aldo Liguori told the Unofficial Sony Ericsson Blog the following…

“I can confirm that we will be launching the X1 product in 2nd Half of 2008, as per our announcement of 10th February.”

I am really looking forward to this release!

Thanks for the update! I'll take all the news on this one I can get.

And nice work securing "xperiasite.com." Looking forward to that... the sooner, the better, preferably BEFORE the product release (unlike tiltsite).
