Ok, it’s time for me to pull the iPhone out and give it another look. I haven’t upgraded it since the 2nd ROM upgrade, but this one takes care of one of the main problems that kept me from being able to use the iPhone as my daily driver… Exchange Server support.

According to Engadget’s live coverage of the Apple Press Conference today…

10:08AM – “Microsoft has come up with a much more advanced architecture, where the iPhone can work directly with the Exchange server in a more reliable and affordable way. We’re building Exchange support so you get push email, push calendaring, push contacts, global address lists, and the ability to remote wipe it.”

This is big for Apple. That’s about all I can say. I love my Tilt, and I am really looking forward to the Xperia X1, but I am going to have to give the iPhone another shot soon.

The new SDK Apple released is really going to make an already awesome product a superb product. I love that is now has Exchange push-mail!

Once they come out with a 32GB iPhone, then I am finally buying it. It would also be great if it had 3G, but that's not essential for me.
