Make your registry edit and then power down your device, wait and then power it back up. That is the only way I have ever got registry edits to work or Stick.

Also, this is the only way I have got KaiserTweaks on my device to Hide Sim contacts after Soft reset.

one note about this hack. It will also change your default backlight timeout to 10 seconds. if you change the timeout back to something else (like 1 minute), it defeats the reg hack mentioned above. Just keep this in mind when using this hack.

hawgfan923 - that happens because of another reg hack (usually done in KaiserTweak). This scrolling issue happens because you've turned on d-pad scrolling, If you use KaiserTweak, go to the PocketIE section and disable d-pad scroll navigation and your email/txt message scrolling issue will be gone.

Now if someone could just explain why my scroll bar starts at the bottom every time I open a text message or email!!!

Resco Explorer worked fine for me, I just didn't have a Backlight folder inside my Backlight folder, and neither do you. ;)

It's HKCU/ControlPanel/Backlight/LockLevel/ as seen in this screenshot: http://tiltsite.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/04/pc-capture42.jpg

THANK you for this post, I never liked the default setting and was unaware of the option to change it. :)

P.S. Would it be possible for the TiltSite team to consider a "Email me on follow up comments" option, if possible? Because I know that if someone posts a comment after me (even if you reply to this comment), I won't read it anymore because I hardly ever come back to old posts. ;)
