HTC To Make Announcement On May 6th, 2008 (It’s NOT our drivers either)

htc-london-may-6-event I’ve seen this on several websites and it looks like HTC has got something special up their sleeve and plan to make an announcement in London England on May 6th 2008. Engadget Mobile thinks its going to be an update to the Original GSM Touch, but WMExperts is betting that it is going to be the new Interface Manilla that I especially like. I’m not sure that this is enough to warrant a press release, but I for one can’t wait to get Manilla Cooked into a ROM and test out! The other possibility, however remote, is that it will be an Android announcement of some kind. We know HTC is busy working on a device for Android. Whatever it is, hopefully it will include a device that has the drivers we need in it. There are hackers standing by, waiting to get a device that has them to port to our Kaiser platform, and most especially my AT&T Tilt!

We anxiously await May 6th!
