the touchbrowser is a joke! It’s in its current state at best a dodgy alpha release! So buggy, so lacking of standard features: wants a site starts loading you cannot stop it – what if you hit a wrong link? No history, no cache…no option to clean privacy data! The half-baked keyboard overrides/disables the built-in onscreen keyboard…but heck: everytime you rotate to landscape on my tytn to use slide-out keyboard the app freezes…
Rendering: lol, the tiny google mobile site sits on a square mile of white space…you see bits when the site finished loading and then you scroll forever through whiteness to find the rest!!!
Opera mini works fine on my tytn, it’s free, I can screen drag with my finger, and it doesn’t load a tiny forum homepage at 300+ kb… Try cnn on touchbrowser? Hahaha…even at 3g speed it takes, well, I don’t know…after 3 minutes of blank loading screen, I gave up….
I rate makayama’s product fraudulent… i haven’t looked at their site in a couple of days, but initially at least there was zero indication that it’s just a pie add-on!!!!! They also claim desktop browsing, but their default google search is google-mobile!!!!
