Opera mini 4.1 beta initial reaction

Opera mini serverI installed Opera mini 4.1 beta Friday and used it quite a bit over the weekend.  I really like it so far.  It’s shockingly fast and the zooming and panning seems to work really well.  I’ll try and get a review of it done after a bit more use.

Opera mini is a java based free browser from Opera.  It works great on the built in java interpreter on the Tilt.

Those interested in trying it for themselves can visit the Opera Mini beta website to download a copy .

    read this article for more instructions on things like getting rid of the constant popups from java about permissions and making shortcuts on the start menu and opening links with opera mini.

    I hated opera mini until I made those changes. Now opera mini, the java midlet, runs almost seamlessly with windows mobile as if it were an application like internet explorer.
