treo800w Looks like some select users are getting email invites from Palm to beta test the “rumored” Treo 800w that is “rumored” to be heading to Sprint in the Summer of 2008. Come on Palm, give AT&T this phone. Please?

Here is what some users are getting sent to them from Palm…

We have a new opportunity for people in an enterprise environment who want to an innovative device for connectivity from Palm, one of the global leaders in communication. If you are interested in applying, please visit the following link.

The Palm Beta Test Team

According to Palm Info Center, the text on the site that the link was removed from states that Palm is looking for enterprise users with certain qualifications. One of those was WiFi router access. Could this be a WiFi enabled Treo? If so, Crunch Gear has a great point when they speculated that this could be an opportunity for T-Mobile to get into the Treo game. Apparently T-Mobile doesn’t carry them because of the lack of WiFi on earlier models.

We already assume that the Treo 800w is going to Sprint 1st based on a leaked product road map earlier and it seems that we might see this in Summer 2008. Oh, and more good news, it is “rumored” to come with Windows Mobile 6.1.
