What is Coming May 6th from HTC? gPhone?

sl-pm-ib Speculations are running rampant all over the blogosphere this week about invitations to an HTC Event in London on May 6th… “Witness the next wave of HTC Innovation” What else could it mean really? It’s got to be their version of the Google Android thingy, right? That sure seems to be what most are thinking at least. Slash Phone thinks so too…

It’s hard to say what HTC is unveiling. With Apple’s Worldwide Developers convention just a month away, I’d venture to guess that HTC would introduce their first Android phone – the Dream. This is actually the perfect time frame since HTC committed to a release date of mid-2008 release or at least an announcement of a device sporting Android.

We shall see!
