att_blur Ever wonder if all Carriers 3G networks perform the same? Well if you have, you can get some pretty good information about 3G networks and how three US Carriers Stack up in performance against each other. ComputerWorld.com has put together a really nice article breaking down the differences between the three carriers: AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon Wireless. So who wins? You won’t be disappointed! AT&T won out in almost every category.

The ComputerWorld Article is a good read and worth your time, especially if you are new to mobility and want to get more familiar with 3G. To read the article CLICK HERE.

I couldn’t help but post the results! I am traveling for the next several weeks and will very much enjoy the speed of the AT&T 3G network. I am stuck with Edge where I live now.

I give AT&T's 3G the same rating as the number of bars I consistently get on my Tilt: 1 bar.

Question, can we just get a GSM PC Card (if there is one) and just plug it into laptop and leech off 3G from cellular data network, identify the laptop as mobile device? Has anyone tried that?

well I am even happier now as I just recently dumped Verizon for ATT. Not so much because of service issues but because of Verizons insistance to brand just about every phone with their crappy UI and disable functions of a phone in hopes you will buy the service back from them via their Get It Now features
