Contest – Win a Nokia N95 from Mobilitysite!
This post was published 1 year 5 months 10 days ago which may make its actuality or expire date not be valid anymore. This site is not responsible for any misunderstanding.Ok, back in October, I attended a press event for Sandisk’s launch of the 8GB MicroSD card. This was a killer event in Hollywood where Sandisk secured the 3 hottest night clubs in LA for their private venue. The clubs were The Roxy, The Viper Room, and the Key Club. Anyhow, some of the bands that played were Linkin Park and the Crystal Method. It was a great time. (click the band to see my photos)
Anyhow, at this event, we were all given Nokia N95s to keep. Although it’s not a WinMo device, it’s still a killer phone. I brought it home and tried talking my wife into using it, but she was content with her current phone. Since then, she has finally moved to something more powerful. She uses the Blackberry Pearl.
Last night, I was cleaning up around my office and I came across the box for the N95 and thought that it was a shame that such an expensive, powerful phone was just sitting in the graveyard waiting for a photo op. So, I decided to give it to one of you!

To win this contest for the Nokia N95 Phone, there are a couple things that you have to do. Not that tough to do though… Read on for details.
1st step is uploading a photo to our photo Gallery.
You need to be a member of the forums in order to do that, but it’s not that difficult and it’s free. You can join 200,000+ other members in the forums later too. I am pretty sure the Gallery is 100% operational, but if you do experience any issues, contact me via the form.
- Take a photo of yourself with you PDA, Phone, or any other Mobile Device. Bonus points for those that can get Mobilitysite into the photo somehow.
- Go to our Gallery and upload a photo to the “contests” category.
2nd step is even easier.
Stay tuned to the RSS feed or front page for the winner to be announced. You will have to pay attention though, it might be an unconventional method of announcement and you will have a time limit to reply. I suggest getting Mobilitysite in your RSS reader. If you don’t use an RSS reader, there are some really nice ones for your phone as well as some killer web based readers that are free.
Web Readers
For your Phone
- You can use our Branded version of Viigo
- News Gator has a reader for almost every Mobile OS
- My Favorite is Newsbreak
- Feeder Reader
Step 3 is the easiest of all…
Simply reply to this post… You can do this before or after you upload your photo, it doesn’t matter. When I select my pic from the photos, I will check this thread and make sure that that photo submitter followed the instructions and posted here as well, if not… on to the next photo.
At this point, you might be thinking, “wow, that’s alot of work”. Well, it’s really not and the reasons for the steps are good reasons.
- The photos make it fun and help grow the community in spirit and comraderie.
- It helps promote other parts of the site you might not know about like the forums and the Gallery.
- It’s a killer phone and you should have to show you want it :)
Standard Rules Apply that are mostly the same with all my contests…
- Deadline for photo submission is June 26th 2008.
- Staff Members can participate, but will not be allowed to win. Sorry guys.
- I reserve the right to change rules to protect the integrity of the contest.
The Nokia N95 is the original N95 and is slightly used. All cords, manuals and original box will come with the device.
