MoGo Mouse at the Indianapolis 500

This is probably my most used accessory and one of the best Bluetooth devices I have had.  It stays “docked” inside the PCMCIA slot of my laptop and I keep one in the Express Slot of my Sony Vaio Media Center PC to use with my tablet and Sony UX. It is a must have accessory if you travel and want to stay “light” on what you have to carry!

MoGo Company’s Bluetooth-enabled Wireless Laptop Mouse to Be Included in Event’s Celebrity Gift Bag

Newton Peripherals, the developer of the revolutionary MoGo family of Bluetooth-enabled products, today announced that its MoGo Media Mouse X54 will be included in the Celebrity Gift Bags for, “The Greatest Spectacle in Racing,” the Indianapolis 500.

Just like the cars at the Indy 500, the MoGo Media Mouse X54, a Bluetooth-enabled wireless mouse, is sleek and delivers high performance to take on the rigors of computing while on the road. The MoGo Media Mouse X54 is a combined wireless multimedia remote and mouse that stores and charges inside your laptop’s ExpressCard/54 slot – freeing laptop users on the go from carrying cords, batteries or cables. Embedded Bluetooth technology enables control of iTunes, YouTube, Windows Media Player and other media from 30 feet away.

In addition, the MoGo Media Mouse X54 will be included in a special gift bag to be autographed by the celebrities and auctioned at http://www.charityfolks.com with proceeds going to the Riley Hospital for Children, Indiana’s only comprehensive children’s hospital.

“We are thrilled to have one of our products be a part of one of the most exciting sporting events in the world, the Indianapolis 500,” said Matthew Westover, President and Chief Executive Officer of Newton Peripherals. “The Indianapolis 500 is the pinnacle of the fusion of technology, design and performance and this opportunity allows us to present the MoGo Mouse to celebrity racing fans who appreciate technology that enables mobility.”

The MoGo Media Mouse X54 has the same functionality as conventional laser wireless mice – scroll, right click, left click – without the bulky, oversized design. It easily converts into a remote control that lets users wirelessly play, pause, change tracks and adjust volume on a variety of multimedia applications. It is available at a number of electronic retailers as well as online at http://www.mogostore.com

“The MoGo Mouse is a fantastic companion for those of us who rely on our computers when we’re on the go,” said Julie Kenney, founder and president of Jewels and Pinstripes. “We are pleased to have the MoGo Mouse included in the gift bags we created for the Indianapolis 500 and are sure that the gift bag recipients will enjoy this unique product.”
