This is basically a mobile phone repeater with a large screen and keyboard. Not worth it my opinion. You have an investment in you WM phone of a couple of hundred and then buy a ~ $500 mini laptop look a like so that you'll look cool on the plane? This an answer to a question that's been answered bu ULPC's already.

I just went to Celios website and noticed that the MSRP on this device is $499! Isn't that a bit much for what's basically a monitor and a keyboard with a KVM/USB adapter? It has no drives, no memory and no O/S of it's own. I think it's an interesting idea and maybe even practical in some instances but the price seems like it should be in the $75-$125 range for what it is.

Looks like a nice device but leaves me wondering what the point is. If I wanted to carry a clamshell device of that approximate size I'd just get a notebook and forget the PPC altogether. Carrying them both seems redundant.

Boy, how is this nothing but a WM version of the Palm Foleo that everybody hated so much? (Or, actually, wasn't the Foleo more powerful than this thing?)

Hi Jack. Nice writeup! The redfly is compatable with WM 5 and 6, I'm curious if you've ever tried to use it as a dumb terminal for something like the HP ipaq 210?

Thanks for any input.
