Vertical Keyboard Takes Up Less Screen Space

johnny_proto2[1] Being that we, AT&T Tilt & HTC TyTN II owners have arguably the nicest slide out keyboards in all of Mobility, you probably spend a lot of time in landscape mode like I do. With that being the case, this application probably will not be that useful. However, I thought it was pretty innovative and worth mention. It looks like the folks over at Empower Mobility are working on a prototype for a vertical keyboard that would take up less real estate in landscape mode and allow you to view the whole screen, instead of burying it behind the keyboard. They are asking for your thoughts in a brief survey so if you want more information, head on over there and have a look.
