A few days ago I commented about the Celio Redfly adding support for BlackBerrys. I came across that bit of information first while researching to purchase a Celio RedFly myself and then while I’ve been …

Wow everyone!  I really appreciate all the positive feedback I’ve received on the Flash your AT&T Tilt video and will definitely be doing more video reviews/tutorials in the future because of all the positive feedback.

I’ve also come with a short tip on the Tilt.  I was talking to Ryan the other night and he Screenshot_1 was asking a little bit about the errors with Sync’ing with Windows Vista.  Come to find out he had the Advanced Networking Functionality (RNDIS) enabled, and even if it is Vista, I’ve never gotten it to work with Windows XP either, at least to a stable point.

Now I’ve been pouring over the internet to try and find out the difference between the two (if you do know please tell us) and all I’ve come up with is that it provides the ability to send Ethernet and ATM frames over a USB connection (vs the old system which is PPP-based).

More after the break

I’ve not really seen this system work too tremendously well, so my advice is usually disable the advanced network functionality.  This is done by going to Start->Settings->Connections(tab)->USB to PC.  Then uncheck that box and hit ok.  Then reseat your connection(may want to soft reset as well).

This is probably something everyone knows already but I just wanted to put it out there as a tip in case anyone was having trouble with it still, plus I couldn’t just put up a thanks for the positive feedback without giving you guys a little something else.

Tyler, I tried to leave comment on your video post, but I kept being aborted. Anyway, thanks for the video as this 64 year-old appreciated your effort. Did you or do you hard reset or even soft reset after doing the HardSPL and/or the ROM flashing? Thank you. Looking forward to your future efforts.
