A very interesting and complete review of Sunnysoft’s Contacts app for WinMo 5 or 6 was posted a couple days ago by Kamal at GadgetMix.
The applications seems to be for touchscreen units only but it has a lot of features I could really use, such as being able to see a contact’s full call/SMS history. Other nice touches are multiple language support and full skinability.
According to the review:
This application lets you manage the contacts in a easy-to-use, sleek interface. It lets you quickly find the desired number in your phonebook without taking the stylus out and with one hand only. The best part about this application is that unlike other contact managers, it doesn’t make its own contacts database. It uses the existing contacts database.
Kamal gives us a couple very useful video demonstrations of the software in his review, which I always appreciate as I can be very very picky about UIs and on-screen behavior, especially in an application as essential to me as a Contacts manager.
GadgetMix is a nice new blog originating in India so I am looking forward to checking in regularly to get more Asian focused gadget information. They seem to run some fun contests as well, such as one from PDAir, so it is definitely a site worth checking out in the future.
