31XZwaXGZ3L._SL500_AA280_Ever want to expand your Tilt’s storage to the same as an iPhone? Now you can for the lowest price ever! Amazon.com is selling 8GB MicroSD cards for $32. Thirty Two US Dollars! To put this in perspective, in December I spent $120 on this very 8GB MicroSD card. This is a great memory card, SanDisk sells some of the best flash memory devices on the market. I have never seen one of their devices fail. If my opinion isn’t enough, it is backed by a 5 year warranty.

The Tilt normally has about 100mb or less of storage after windows mobile and any other programs you have are installed, not much room for videos and music. This expansion is over 50 times more than what you got when your phone came out of the box. If you still carry around an mp3/video player AND a cell phone, those days are over. Now you can expand your cell phone for an amazingly low price.

It also comes with a coupon for a free card reader, probably not the best card reader in the world but its free.

Check out this great deal, I imagine its only for a limited time:
Amazon.com: SanDisk 8GB microSDHC Card (SDSDQ-8192, Bulk Package): Electronics

Thanks to TiltSite user rboyer224 for bringing it up! What a great deal you spotted!

UPDATE: The price as been raised to $37.

UPDATE 2: Removed the link that was to the wrong card, thanks to you guys for the comments, I never would have noticed otherwise

Received my 8gb microsdhc today. Doesn't work. Have found a Microsoft hotfix referenced on the AT&T forum, but it didn't work for me.

Anyone else run into this problem? Have a fix?

Thank you Ryan, I actually just read today somewhere online that it will support up to 32gig... I am currently watching the AT&T site as they are out of stock on the refurbs but I hope to get my unit within the next few weeks; very excited!
  • I have not checked the AT&T; website recently, but as I remember it, it says AT&T; only sells 2GB, but the device supports up to 32GB(and I don't believe 32GB is available to consumers yet).
  • Thomas
The AT&T website says that the Tilt only supports up to 2 gigs on a memory card... how is it that you guys are doing 8?
  • On the topic of cheap 8GB storage, buy.com has a 8GB Kingston DataTraveler flash drive for $30 (subtract additional $10 for Google Checkout)

Unfortunately, the buy.com link is for a standard SDHC card and not a Micro SDHC, worthless to the Tilt/Tytn II.
The lowest price on 8GB at buy.com is ~$60
  • Ronnie
The PNY card on buy.com is a regular SD card, not micro SD
  • tj
Warning! That PNY card is not a microsdhc and won't work in the Tilt!
  • I just bought a 4gig from NewEgg three weeks ago for $27 shipped..... oh well

thanks for the heads up, I ordered it and within hours the price jumped $6. Undoubtedly this was a bsrgain....thamks Tiltsite.

Thanx for the great heads-up! I jumped at the price, but after I ordered, it reminded me.....I've always wondered, do these bigger capacity cards take up more power/battery level? I know what you run on them decides more than anything, but do the bigger cards themselves diminish our time away from the charger? How about a review/tutorial/practicuum on that?
