It is no secret I am a huge fan of Resco File Explorer. It has been a constant companion on every device I have owned. And the best just gets better with Resco’s latest release, Resco File Explorer 2008, version 7.00. Check out the video below

  • And in addition to that, they're extending it this time. So for the 2007-2008 upgrade they:

    "decided to extend the free upgrade policy from 12 months to 18 months. This applies to anyone who purchased Resco Explorer 2008 before June 16th 2008."

    So if you buy now, you get free major updates in the next 18 months. Then of course they shouldn't release the new version on December 17, 2009! ;-)

    This took me a little while to figure out, so this will help if you bought RE 2007 less than a year ago.

    They're supposed to email a new registration code, as the same code from RE 2007 won't work for the new version.

    As Doug mentioned, you get free upgrades for a year, and 50% off after that.

    Gotta love customer loyalty!
  • I noticed that, but it gives the basics of Resco File Explorer 2008. I listed the improvements under the video.
  • The video really doesn't show any of the major improvements in Resco Explorer 2008, it's mostly the touch support, large and customizable toolbar, and things like that which make the difference. :)
