Samsung’s eco-friendly handset made from cornstarch

While this isn’t HTC or Tilt related, I thought it was very interesting and cool.. a cellphone made from Cornstarch?!
SEOUL, Korea (AVING) — <Visual News> Samsung Electronics unveils its eco-friendly handsets ‘W510′ and ‘F268′ in Korea market at World IT Show.
The SCH-W510, dubbed as ‘Bio Cover Phone’, uses its bioplastic material made from cornstarch while features environmentally friendly metal finishing process. It is expected to be available in the end of this month.
The SGH-F268 excludes Brominated flame retardants(BFRs) and polyvinyl chloride(PVC) that can be harmful to people. In particular, scheduled to be released in China market in this month, the F268 comes with eco-friendly handset accessories such as a headset and a charger.
“Samsung is striving to continue to be a strong corporate citizen that contributes to environmental sustainability,” said Geesung Choi, President of Samsung’s Telecommunication Business. “Now we are trying not only to launch more environmentally-conscious products with more renewable material and less energy consuming, but also to expand proactively set up a phone recycling system”
