I feel very honored this year to join the ranks of our very own Julie and warthog, who are both current and prior Board of Expert Judges for Smartphone & Pocket PC Software Awards.  This will be a busy summer for us as we sift through loads of excellent software in our respective categories and recognize those companies producing superior software.  We’d like your help, though.  The Nominations Manager, Werner Ruotsalainen, better known to many as Menneisyys,  has along with many of the Board of Experts created the nominations list.  This tentative list of nominations of Windows Mobile software is now available for public viewing and commentary. 

This is where we’d appreciate your input, from end users and developers alike.  By following this link, you can make suggestions to improve the quality of the pool of items to be judged.  Your suggestions can be for  a new category, un-nominating products you feel are not deserving or even changing the category of a given product.  You can also discuss these and other items related to the 2008 awards by stopping by Smartphone & Pocket PC’s Best Software Awards Forum.

Bryan is a software tester and network admin for a small multimedia company that deals primarily with the network/PC technology sector, despite the fact that his background is actually in the biological sciences. His first PDA was a Palm m100 back in 2001 and has been fiddling with Pocket PCs and Smartphones for several years now. In 2008 he was a Software Judge for SmartPhone and PocketPC Magazine.
