One of the newer games released from Astraware is GTS World Racing. It is a sequel to the original GTS Racing Challenge released in 2003. This is an interesting title, especially considering it’s for a mobile device.
The game offers 4 main modes of play: Single Race, Challenge Cup, Grand Tour, and Championship, each presenting a different style of gameplay. There are 64 different racing tracks set in 16 landscapes, as well as multiple car types and difficulty levels to play. (Read the full review after the break.)

GTS World Racing offers several different modes of gameplay. While the overall objective is the same (to win the race), each mode has different objectives. The four gameplay modes are Single Race, Challenge Cup, Grand Tour, and Championship.
In Single Race, the description says it all. Pick any of the tracks and/or cars and race for fun or to practice for a challenge or championship. In the Challenge Cup, you race in each of the 16 different locations and try to finish as high as possible to achieve the best position. In Grand Tour, it really is a grand tour. You race in all 64 different tracks in all 16 locations and try to finish as high as possible. This mode will last for hours. And for the Championship mode, you have to complete 16 different races and try to score as many points as possible by finishing ahead of everyone else.
The gameplay is rather simple, although the controls can be difficult at first (I suggest changing the default controls). The graphics are fairly decent for a mobile device, especially considering the whole HTC video drivers issue. I recommend that you try before you buy, as some enthusiasts will enjoy this game but others may struggle with the controls and sensitivity at first. Overall, a good title and worthy sequel to the original GTS game that has the potential to keep you entertained for hours.
