Ideally Android will merge with Symbian & LiMo to create a unified open source front like the PC market in the 80s/90s to closed source Apples iPhone (and Mac).

@Pimp Daddy: If Android were a success then there would be a lot of paradigms that would work their way into the product flow of the mobile world which currently has very few.

Apple has contributed vastly to the mobile community with their iPhone in the push for finger-controlled touchscreens over stylus controlled touchscreens. This has been done before but the success of the iPhone has really driven the paradigm in that direction

Wow, you live if a great reality, maybe one day I will park my spaceship there. Is it Google or Linux that you think is going to “Unify” the experience (like Sun did). Better let Apple, Blackberry, Nokia and Microsoft know.
