I saw this yesterday. The picture that they show is a old cropped picture of a non-branded Kaiser with front facing camera.

I have no doubt that T-Mobile will in fact get the Tilt (or Kaiser) but I do highly doubt they will start using video calling since they JUST NOW started rolling out 3G.

@Doug

Thanks for catching that. The At&t tilt's 3G will work on TMo's 2100 band...but you'd probably get crap signal indoors.

AT&T Tilt uses a quad band:
Wireless Technology
GSM/GPRS850/900/1800/900 MHz

3G 850/1900/2100 MHzEDGE High Speed Data Network

Should still work on T-Mobile 2100 MHz

TMobile will be offering 3G service in 27 markets on 1OCT:

New York City, Austin, NJ and Long Island, Las Vagas, Minneapolis, Miami, Dallas, Chicago, Houston, Philadelphia, Denver, Detroit, Orlando, Kansas city, Atlanta, Los Angeles, New England, Portland, Sacramento, San Diego, Seattle, Washington DC, San Francisco, Birmingham, Memphis, Tampa and Phoenix.

At&t will have 3G service in 350 markets by '09. I won't list them.

TMo 3G service will use 1700/2100Mhz frequencies for their 3G service. At&t uses 850/1900. So your at&t tilt won't work on Tmo and vice versa.

From a soon to be Tilt owner: Whats the difference between T-Mobiles 3G network and AT&T's 3G network? This phone seems to be a little better, should I wait for it? Any idea of a time frame for release?

Thanks, to everyone who contributes to this site ...
