We were surprised to hear that jkOnTheRun has been acquired by the Giga Omni Media group, home of GigaOm blog among others.

A special CONGRATULATIONS to James Kendrick and Kevin Tofel for this milestone!  I expect that most folks don’t really have a clue as to how much work goes into managing a blog like jkOnTheRun and then take time to develop content.  It is an immense amount of work and a commitment in time that can effect other areas of your life (like family) if you are not careful.  Somehow, James and Kevin have managed that and present to us daily great news, tips and continually instill in us the desire for being mobile.

What does this mean for jkOnTheRun?

First and foremost you can rest assured that the coverage you have come to expect from us will continue.  jkOnTheRun will continue to bring you all the information about the gadgets and technologies that make your jobs easier and your lives a little bit better.  That we can promise you will not change.   We will continue to show you not only the technology of the day but how you can leverage it to your best advantage.  We will also continue to detail for you what technology we are using and what we do with it.

You can read the entire  announcement here at jkOnTheRun

The entire Mobilitysite team would like to extend to James and Kevin our very best wishes and continued success in this new venture for jkOnTheRun!
