The Palm Treo 800w may have showed up on Sprint’s Website yesterday, but the device showed up at my office late last week. I’ve had a little time to play/test the phone and so far, so good. I am uploading a 20 Minute video unboxing and 1st look right now too, so make sure to check back later.

Pros and Cons and More photos after the jump…

So far, this is what I think so far…

Pros:

  • Awesome Form Factor, for the most part
  • Great Keyboard
  • Super Fast Operation. Screens snap when prompted. Feels super fast.
  • WiFi. Yes, WiFi!
  • Palm’s Magical Touch give to Windows Mobile 6.1
  • Unparalleled One handed usability

Cons:

  • Stylus. Flimsy feeling, plastic Stylus.
  • Battery Life. Not too sure about the battery life. Two days of testing have me concerned. I’ll give a week of average use, including Push Email use, and give the final verdict.
  • Softkeys are tough to use.

Overall, it’s a solid device so far. Visit the Photo Gallery or click on the photos below…
