I don’t mind it, personally I will never get an iphone, I love my Tilt, and I love WM flaws and all. I do like the iphone in that it is forcing Microsoft and others to improve their OS and platforms. I like to hear about the competition, not least to know my enemy, so that when I am asked (again) why I prefer a WM phone over an iphone, I can list the differences with a base of facts. I do in these conversations state their are things about the iphone I like, to state that I hate everything about them would be a lie, and would be remenscent of an apple/WM fanboy.
One thing I tremendously love about this site is that you report about everything and anything, yes the commentators can be biased but who isn’t, yes things are posted that I couldn’t care less about those posts I ignore. Things like these are what makes this site shine. The content makes it great but the personalities of the posters, and the helpfullness of staff truely make this site shine. Mobilitysite is the first site I check in the morning and the last one I check at night. Thanks Chris for such a great site, you are the best!

I like the amount of iPhone coverage on here. It’s a nice change to the iPhone bashing that some of the editors/contributors had been indulging in over the past year.

I don’t have an iPhone, and, as it isn’t likely that Verizon will ever offer it, I probably never will. That said, it is a revolutionary product that will have (and already has had) a far reaching impact on mobile technology.

I remember when Apple introduced the Newton. Wow! It was amazing. Now look where we are. Personally, I can’t wait to see what comes next and I hope that Apple continues to push the envelope when it comes to design and user interface. Even if it isn’t the tech that I need, I’m sure it will be pretty slick (and I’ll probably want one!).

I certainly enjoy reading (and posting) some stories on the iPhone, but I am really close to iPhone overload overall. I have never liked the tendency for certain companies and products (Apple, Google, Firefox) to be so sacred as to be above criticism in tech circles. Several sites like Gizmodo have filters you can download (Firefox only I think) that hide all the iPhone content for you. If these sites felt the need for such measures then 1) they know they can be a bit excessive about their “jesus phone” and 2) they know it is making some people’s teeth itch. I know that during the release of the first iPhone wave, I lost respect for a number of people such as Robert Scoble and Walt Mossberg (and they lost my readership) due to their blind, almost rabid devotion to the iPhone (and in Mossberg’s case, everything at all connected to Apple or Steve Jobs…lord he must REALLY love the special access and strokes he gets from Cupertino to lose all journalistic sense).

That said, I feel we have a good balance of iPhone news here…we report it as one of many important mobile tech stories, not THE story.

The iPhone is a great device, it perfectly fills the mobile needs of some people and will force the other vendors to step up their designs. However, in the long run, it is just a very very capable phone and mobile web browser. If it ever solves world hunger or cures cancer, let me know.

I have found the iPhone coverage on this site just right. Mobilitysite has done a great job of cutting through the hype to flesh out some real world comparisons.

It is really helpful and interesting to have WM devotees compare and contrast their favorite devices with the iPhone. Heck, as someone who has not yet made the leap to a “gadget phone”, I like hearing about everything that is out there so I can make an informed choice.

I’m sick of hearing about it, but not so much on this site. I’m sick of seeing iPhone stuff plastered across every website I visit. It’s like no-one has ever been able to do anything with their mobile phone except make calls until the iPhone was rolled out and that perception is so off the wall!

I wish I could filter out all the iPhone stuff from the various RSS feeds I subscribe to. As it is, the ones that are going crazy reporting about iPhone stuff, I’ve unsubscribed to them.

Without a doubt I am tired of hearing about it. Until it can do at least half of what an actualy PPC can do (without hacks/jailbreaks/or what ever they are called), it shouldnt be lumped into the same category. It is more at home nintendo DS (I think thats what its called…the little toy thing for kids)

Mobility site readers have very diverse interests, why should you limit information on any one product.
I will probably never own an iphone, but I like to keep myself informed.
As with anything, if it’s of interest to me I read it, if it’s not, I move on.
