ctitanic… that’s a big “if” for a specialty device like that.

In response to Neil’s comment, I can testify that I have a Gigabyte U60, and love it! Great for internet surfing, reading, and watching videos anywhere you like, and a sufficiently usable keyboard that I can deal with emails and minor documents. All my accounting is easily done on it as well.

Don’t knock these devices until you’ve given them a chance, Neil. In my opinion, they eliminate the need for a laptop.

gylman if you can find the drivers there is nothing that stops you from using XP in one of this.

Neil, have your ever used an UMPC?
I have been using them for 2 years creating all kind of content including Visual Basic code and they are to me the best and more productive gadget I have ever owned. there is nothing like to have your Home PC with you at any time. Sure you can use a laptop but they are heavy and huge.

Having a full desktop interface on devices this small just seem pointless and clunky to me. To me you need a more streamlined interface to make devices this small truly useful and not just something to showoff to friends.

That being said the device itself looks really good.

Another nice looking device that I would have considered getting, if I could get it with XP. Vista, though, kills the deal.
